एक जरा हाथ बड़ा दे तो पकड़ ले दमन, 
उसके सिने में समा जाए हमारी धड़कन, 
इतनी कुर्बत है तो फासला इतना क्यों है? 
कोई ये कैसे बताए के वो तन्हा क्यों है? 

 इतदाये  इश्क  है  रोता  है  क्या 
आगे  आगे  देखिये  होता  है  क्या 

मकतबे  इश्क  का  दस्तूर  निराला   देखा 
उस  को  छुटी   ना   मिली  जिस  को  सबक  याद  हुआ 


ऐ   जोक   गर   है   होश   तो   दुनिया   से   दूर    भाग
इस   मक्तबे  काम   नहीं   होशियार   का

हम जैसों की नाकामी पर क्यों हैरत है दुनिया को
हर मौसम में जीने के आदाब कहाँ रखते हैं
